While there’s no requirement to mention a specific behavior in a CV clause, you can’t go wrong if you do. Here’s what experts say about it:
The GDPR does not require that the legal basis for consent to the processing of personal data be specified in the content of the consent. There is no need to point out such a basis. It is important that the consent granted fulfills the conditions set out in the GDPR.

Legacy terms are invalid
Including an old term on your resume is a mistake that can have serious consequences:
Including old consent to the processing of personal data in your CV could lead to rejection of our recruitment documents in the first place. This can happen if the content of the old CV clause does not meet the requirements set out in the GDPR, i.e. it is not voluntary, clear and specific. Without a proper CV clause, recruiters may see no reason to process personal data and reject the documents.

GDPR only applies in Europe. However, only some EU countries require CV clauses. However, if you write an English CV for a foreign company operating in Poland, you must also include a clause in it.

Correction of CV clauses in English under GDPR
English Resume Terms: I hereby consent to the processing of my personal data by (company name) in order to consider my application for the vacancy advertised under reference number (123XX6 etc.)
Remember two important things.
First, don’t literally translate the Polish wording agreed by the GDPR.This doesn’t make sense and neither does a google search for the formula GDPR terms CV or Terms Resume English.
However, if you have already done so, I remind you of the following version GDPR Consent Statement (since this is the correct translation of the English CV clause) is wrong:

The clauses regarding the processing of personal data should be placed at the very bottom of the file, i.e. in the footer of your CV form. It’s a standard place, and that’s where recruiters hope to find her. When checking your resume for terms, they look at the very bottom of the file first.
